Personal Shoot 1 Work Record

Preparation

I collected a camera from the studio in order to take the photos of the multiple exposure.  I then formatted the camera and set it up so that I could take multiple exposure images.  As this is a setting on the camera it is fairly easy to set it up and take the photos and get a pretty good result.

What I Hope To Achieve

I hope that from this shoot I will be able to understand more about multiple exposure and how to get the best possible photograph from using very simple equipment without the use of a studio and a high tech camera.  I hope that I will be able to demonstrate that I can create some really interesting and unique looking photographs.  I may also experiment with this technique but taking two seperate images and then blending them together in photoshop to create a multiple exposure effect.

This is my favourite photo from this photoshoot as I love the way that it turned out as it is exactly how I expected it to. I like the way that the texture of the leaf is essentially printed onto Alice's skin so it is like she is part of the leaf.  This is the look that I was going for but I didn't think that it would turn out this good after only one attempt.  I am extremely happy with the way that this photograph turned out and is probably the best photo I may have ever taken.

This is another one of my favourites because I like the way that the hands are faded out around where Alice's face is.  Rather than having just the hands in focus where her face in, the effect of having them lighter around the outside, actually worked really well and the overall technique in this image turned out a lot better than I had hoped for.

Idea Development

If I was to re-create this shoot and make it better, I would have a much more focused attempt at getting some good multiple exposure images.  As this shoot was just an experimentation I didn't have a strong idea of what I wanted to achieve which mean that I was just pointing and shooting anything.  Next time, I will be more specific and focus on particular subjects that I know will hopefully give me a good picture.
